outfit of the day: going sailing in 2020

Today it is partially cloudy but sunny and 47 degrees. There is a 50% chance of rain and a low of 30 degrees. Here is the outfit of the day:

SHOES:

Why: Adorable little ballet flat-sneaker hybrids. They're springy but not too springy, and stylish while being neutral.

JACKET:

Why: In case you hadn't noticed, futuristic is SO in. This jacket manages to capture the future look while still being very practical.

TOP:

Why: Because its easy, cute, and just a little out of the ordinary. I'd go with the white shirt, black logo combo.

UNDERNEATH:

Why: Its a fun stripey superlong tank top. It'll soften up the look, play up the springy touch, and add a touch of pretty.

JEANS:

Why: They are relaxed, easygoing, comfy, and stylish. They keep your look from being too preppy or formal, too.

BELT:
Why: To keep the destroyed jeans from looking too destroyed, and to keep the future look going.

BAG:

Why: It brings out the sailor undercurrent in the tank and jeans. I don't know, I just looked and it and it screamed PERFECT! to me.

JEWELRY:

Why: These bright bangles are shiny as candy, but they're made of wood. Seamlessly blends the futuristic and sailor styles.

FINAL TOUCH:
Why: The future thing again. I think this is my favorite polish though. I just really like the way it looks.
